by The Guild Wars 2 Team on July 15, 2022 Once you’ve gotten to know your raptor, springer, skimmer, and jackal mounts, it’s time to expand your collection—and your horizons. If you’re just getting started, make sure to check out the first part of this series to get up to speed! Adopting the flight options from Guild Wars 2 is an -extremely- good change and healthy for the game. And I approve of enforcing it for the beginning of the expansion. Making flying take decisions on moving just like you would do with a ground mount. I welcome it as an alternative to no flying at all until mid/late expansion. Comment by 03 - Continue heading north-west along the clifftops to find another skyscale past the wrecked airship. 4. 04 - Fly east and look for the skyscale directly between Kralkatorrik’s claw. 5. 05 - Fly north-west and down to find the skyscale near a burning tree on the southern edge of the burning forest.
1) Flying ability is available for characters with max level (80 in 7.0), at least initially. 2) Vehicles can be bought on new planets or created by crafting skills. 3) Flying is possible only in newly created zones, where it is specifically allowed by map design.
That interpretation - that they're charging the full price of the expansion just for the skyscale - only works if you want nothing else that's included, and then only if the most extreme example of "a more streamlined collection" is accurate and people who buy the expansion are effectively given the skyscale just for owning it. . 323 41 362 384 247 339 314 190
