I'm a Cyber Security Major at one of the top schools in the USA for Cyber Security and here it is more difficult than just doing a straight CS degree. We have to take all the same classes as CS majors minus one or two, then on top of that Cyber Security classes like Cryptography, Wireless Systems, Software Vulnerabiltiies etc.

This answer is going to entirely depend on your unique situation, though. It's good to double major to expand your network and job prospects, but often getting research experience can easily compensate for this.
